Meet the Chef

Hi, I’m Jess—founder of WellFed Kitchen.

As a Certified Natural Chef, Nutritionist, and competitive bodybuilder, I’ve spent years understanding how food can support performance, recovery, and overall well-being. With a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and over 15 years of culinary experience, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients across Connecticut, New York City, and Southern Ontario—each with their own lifestyles and dietary needs.

My background blends culinary training with a deep understanding of nutrition, including formal training in plant-based cuisine. This allows me to approach food with flexibility and intention—whether I’m creating balanced, macro-focused meals, incorporating high-quality animal proteins, or designing menus around specific dietary needs.

Over the years, I’ve created everything from elevated dining experiences to highly functional, performance-driven meals—always with a focus on balance, flavour, and consistency.
